We hope that you all have a bright and cheery holiday season! For our LCS staff, the holiday season this year has been filled with fun presents, too many cookies, potluck meals, and “Macgyvered” Christmas trees around the office and in the downstairs pantry. Our programs will remain open as staff rotates coverage and takes some well-deserved time off to be with family, eat, watch football, and relax!
Staff has also been busy helping Santa again this year, Back from the North Pole, our Magical Santa Mailbox arrived last month. Santa asked that LCS give him a hand with getting some of his mail to the North Pole, so we have been collecting letters from a bunch of our littlest clients!
We are assisting Santa in gathering toys from all the wish lists we received. Staff spent the morning of our office Christmas party shopping for presents, and then wrapped them all the next day. Combined with Westminster Church’s Adopt a Family Program that provided Christmas gifts, LCS will put smiles on the faces of 52 kids this Christmas morning!
