Word of mouth plays a big role in getting individuals to connect with LCS. The same holds true for volunteers and supporters. Through friends in Wilmington, Harold Wenger became acquainted with LCS. He learned more about how LCS operates and saw that our values fit with his. With the pandemic impacting more and more people in 2020, Wenger felt inspired to support LCS through his company Wenger Wealth.
The Wenger Wealth financial planning team includes Harold Wenger, Financial Advisor and Registered Principal; Ann Duane, Sr. Registered Client Associate and Branch Administrator; and Eliza Lang, Marketing and Branch Associate. Partnered with Raymond James, the team at Wenger Wealth provides a range of financial services. They focus on building relationships with their clients, helping them consider their objectives, risk tolerance, and changing needs. With their research, analysis, and management skills and combined experience, Wenger Wealth works to empower clients to reach their personal goals.
“Harold is a very caring person,” said Eliza of Wenger Wealth, “He always goes above and beyond when it comes to our clients. To us, they are not just our clients, they are our friends.” Likewise, at LCS, we recognize that every person has a unique story and a different path to empowerment and wellness. An individual is much more than whatever challenge or struggles they face.
Fundamental to what they do is finding out where someone is in life. They explore what priorities they have and where they hope to be in the future. By getting to know a client as an individual, Wenger Wealth tailors their guidance to that person’s specific reality. Some of the services they provide include financial planning, retirement planning, longevity planning (things like healthcare and fraud protection), and estate, charitable giving, and trust planning. Not everyone looks for the same assistance, and needs vary over time.
In terms of community involvement, Wenger has a long history of supporting social service organizations. He has served on boards of the Boys and Girls Club, the Community First Fund, and Hogar Crea. His organization aims to address food and financial insecurity as well as transforming lives one individual at a time. Now, thanks to Wenger Wealth’s support, LCS can provide more to our clients. We look forward to having Wenger Wealth at future events, including our Hunger Walk/Run in September and Golf Outing in October.
