LCS has begun distributing rapid COVID-19 test kits to pantry clients and volunteers. New Castle County Executive Matt Meyers procured test kits and asked nonprofit organizations to help get tests into the community quickly. Knowing we see many people at our food pantries, LCS applied to participate. We now have rapid antigen home tests at our Choice, St. Stephen’s, and Unity food pantries. They also are available at public libraries and an increasing number of local organizations. We look forward to a time when we no longer have to deal with a pandemic. In the meantime, we are doing what we can to help keep our community safe.
