“LCS needed help... Just being around people and giving back to the community, is just like, why not?”
When Haley and Laura-Beth were temporarily out of work due to COVID-19, neither wanted to just sit around watching Netflix.
Instead, they have been volunteering in our Food Pantry, helping to bag and distribute products to our clients.
“We’re both young and healthy, so we just are trying to help as much as we can.”
Having Haley and Laura-Beth step up, especially when some of elderly volunteers have had to cut back their time due to health risks, has helped us deal with the increased demand in recent months.
A HUGE thank you to them!
