When our Food Pantry and Delaware Food Farmacy Coordinator Jenn Williams decided to put together holiday meal bags, our Marketing Coordinator Alex Mazzei reached out to the Tatnall School. Brendan Minihan, Head of Middle School, said, “It was good timing because we were about to start up a food drive sponsored by our chapter of the National Junior Art Honor Society in the Middle School (grades 6 -8).” Their food drive ran from November 8th to the 19th. They donated 14 grocery bags full of holiday fixings for our families to enjoy. Well done, NJAHS!
With their generous support, we plan to provide holiday meal fixings to our choice pantry clients. We have sorted the Tatnall donations and will distribute holiday meal bags on December 16th. The outpouring of love will bless our clients and their families. LCS appreciates the dedication of Tatnall students and hopes all who participated feel a bit of joy in helping others and carry that warmth through the coming season!
